Niall Campbell
Niall Campbell is a psychotherapist who works privately with high-agency, high-net-financial-worth men navigating existential crises and periods when the life they have built no longer quite makes sense.
A former dentist who retrained in psychology, Niall has worked across private practice, residential drug and alcohol treatment, youth mental health and psychedelic integration. His particular interest is in people who are highly capable in the world, but who eventually find themselves confronted by questions that capability alone cannot answer.
Keeping Going grew out of the extraordinary conversations that can happen when the armour begins to crack. It is an attempt to understand not only what makes people tick, but what helps them keep going — with a commitment to relentlessly humanising the other.
That curiosity takes the podcast wherever it leads: psychedelics and consciousness, psychology and spirituality, art and comedy, wellness and culture, dark nights of the soul and the ordinary strangeness of being alive. The conversation is the point; curiosity is the compass.
The title comes from Seamus Heaney's poem Keeping Going.
The show begins where conventional accounts of success tend to run out of road: with people who have achieved an extraordinary amount, yet find themselves asking increasingly difficult questions about what any of it is for. It is an attempt to spend some time in that territory — without judgement or easy answers, and with enough curiosity to make room for the things that are difficult to say elsewhere.
